Will my parent actually wear it?
This is the right question — most seniors won't wear a traditional medical alert device, because nobody wants to wear a symbol of frailty. EvoCoach is designed to be the opposite: a companion and coach that looks like jewelry, talks like a friend, and is built to earn its place every day. Safety is built in, not written on the label.
Is this a medical alert system?
It does what one does — automatic fall detection, alerts with location — but it leads with what alert buttons never offer: daily usefulness and companionship. A safety device only protects when it's worn; EvoCoach is designed to be worn. (EvoCoach is a general wellness product, not a medical device.)
Does my parent need a smartphone?
EvoCoach needs a compatible smartphone near the pendant, because the phone does most of the understanding and provides connectivity — but your parent never needs to operate it. A family member handles setup, permissions, and the dashboard, and the phone can then live in a pocket or handbag. If your parent doesn't have a phone, we'll offer guidance on a simple dedicated one at launch.
Does it record conversations or the people around them?
EvoCoach doesn't keep recordings of other people and doesn't create voice profiles of visitors, friends, or family. When a feature needs it — like understanding an instruction addressed to your parent — speech is briefly processed on the paired phone, and only what your parent confirms is saved. Some conversation-linked features adjust by state to match local law.
When can I get one?
